# Analytics dashboard

> What you can measure natively in the Mintlify dashboard and how to use it.

Every Mintlify project includes a built-in analytics dashboard, visible to project Admins under the **Analytics** tab. No external service required.

## Overview metrics

The top of the dashboard shows summary cards for the selected date range:

* **Total page views** — All page loads across your site, including repeat visitors.
* **Unique visitors** — Distinct readers estimated using anonymous session identifiers.
* **Searches** — Total number of search bar queries.
* **Feedback votes** — Combined thumbs up and thumbs down responses across all pages.

Click any metric card to jump to the detailed view for that signal.

## Page performance

The page table lists every page on your site with view counts for the selected period. Use it to:

* Find your most-read pages and make sure they're up to date.
* Spot pages with near-zero views that may be hard to discover.
* Identify pages that drive the most search traffic (cross-reference with search queries).

Sort by views or percentage change to surface trends quickly.

## Search insights

The search report shows every query typed into your search bar, ranked by frequency. The most valuable column is **No results** — queries that returned zero matches. These are gaps in your documentation.

<Tip>
  Export the no-results list and use it as a backlog for new content. Readers who searched and found nothing are the clearest signal of what's missing.
</Tip>

## Feedback

Each page on your site shows a thumbs up/down widget. The feedback report aggregates responses per page and lets you filter for pages with a net-negative score. Pages with many negative votes are strong candidates for a rewrite.

## Date range and filtering

Use the date picker in the top-right corner to select a custom range or one of the presets (last 7 days, last 30 days, last 90 days). The dashboard does not support filtering by segment or user property — use a [connected analytics provider](/analytics/connect-data) for that level of detail.
